My Review:

Four Point One Stars

Vera Smithers, a food critic is dead and things turn bad for Hannah Harper as someone tries to run her over.

Then she teams up with Noah Jackson to find the killer.

Vera has made enough enemies and almost everyone in the small town is a suspect. There is also Donald who is sulky and vengeful and who is the top suspect for the murder.

In a side, Edna and Mildred (Hannah’s ovens) are trying their best to behave as Hannah is preparing for Thanksgiving and the following weekend. George, Hannah’s dog, is also friendly and helpful in the romance and in Hannah’s life as a whole.

Fast quick cosy mystery with a hint of foreboding atmosphere in Ogilvie with a killer on the loose, as the story also brings out the different culinary dishes that Hannah is adept at preparing. Nice read.
