Kiko’s Origami adventure by Tessa Mellinger

Kiko is the creation of her mother, an origami artist whose love breathes life into her paper creations. Initially paralyzed by fear of the outside world, Kiko sets out on a journey that teaches her the power of self-belief and the importance of learning from others. Along the way, she encounters a host of origami animals, each offering a valuable lesson. She crafts a raincoat, boots, and a hat to stay dry like the frogs, builds a paper airplane to soar with a fledgling bird, plays with playful kits using a ball, and finds comfort among pandas. When she injures her paper arm while helping elephants, her new friends come together to guide her home. With her mother’s gentle repair and loving encouragement, Kiko’s bravery and growth shine through—proving that by facing our fears and leaning on others, we open ourselves to wonderful new adventures.

My Review:

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What a tale of adventure of little Kiko!

Four Point Five Stars.

Kiko was created by her mother, who was an origami artist. Initially Kiko is afraid of the world around her, but she decides to be brave and explore the world. She learns how to hop with the frogs in the water.  She even helps a bird that cannot fly with her origami skills. Unfortunately, she gets hurt when she is helping the elephants. What happens after that?

Cute whimsical story for older kids about being brave and following your dreams. The illustrations are also beautiful.
