Nile The Crocodile Meets Myrtle The Turtle is a rhyming children's picture book.

Nile is a charming, athletic crocodile who is in an exciting sports tournament with all the other swamp creatures. While running after a ball, he stumbles over a turtle who is "different". After a very heated confrontation between Nile and the turtle (Myrtle), Nile goes back to apologize the next day. He discovers the sad turtle's point of view, which opens up a whole different way for Nile to look at friendship and being kind to others.

By the way, the crocodiles don't win the tournament, but they win something even better!

Nice lovely tale for older children

Lovely rhythmic tale of Nile the Crocodile who is playing an important game, but unfortunately trips on Myrtle the Turtle. Nile is sad having lost the game and is rude to Myrtle. But what happens after that? Nice illustrations and cute lovely tale of friendship and accepting others for what they are.
