Russel loves all things pirates and he enjoys playing it out.
The illustrations were beautiful and captures Russell's anxiety as he had to visit his grandmother for the first time all by himself.
The book then turns to a fun sweet read that depicts the bond between Russel and his grandmother. The first visit to the granny’s turns into a delightful time as it becomes a grand adventure.
Enjoyable read for kids.
