After putting on a lively show for the reef, Ozzie’s life takes a dangerous turn when he is captured by humans.
Ozzie encounters a fisherman named Jake and there he narrowly escapes a fate as octopus soup thanks to his clever tricks. Then Ozzie meets a magician named Arman, and after a life of showbiz and style, he meets a mysterious Professor.
However, the human world is only half the story.
When Ozzie finally returns to the sea, the sights that greet him change his perspective forever. Shaken by the environmental damage he witnesses, Ozzie realizes his true mission lies back on land.
This is a touching, profound story for middle-grade readers that offers a poignant look at our impact on marine life.
