Book 2 in the Unobtainable series.
Rosie is in a slump. Her dating life is a disaster and she has totally sworn off men until she finds the one.
Alex Hargrove has been the bane of Rosie's existence for years. He's the man she hates more than anything, but he also ignites a spark in Rosie that she hasn't felt since they spent one summer together when they were teenagers.
Even though Alex is Rosie's best friend's brother, she has been able to keep a safe distance until now. Having unexpectedly moved to London, Rosie finds Alex's presence harder and harder to resist. She has somehow managed to agree to be his fake girlfriend at several work functions and the more time they spend together, the more Rosie feels her resolve weakening.
Rosie has been playing the hate game for years. But there is a fine line between love and hate...

My Review:

A steamy line between love and hate
Four Point Two Stars
I have not read the other books of the series, but this seems to be a good place to start.
There is an electric tension between Alex and Rosie right from the first chapter and it is steamy and keeps you turning the pages. I also liked how Sophie's friendship with Rosie was portrayed which proved to be the (second) starting point for the relationship between Alex and Rosie. Then there is Lexi and Damon too.
Alex and Rosie have their past that they have to get over.
Alex's possessiveness and Theo's creepiness was what brought the hate game between Alex and Rosie to its logical (and emotional) end.
Fake dating and what leads from it proves that the line between love and hate is very thin.
Slow and enjoyable steamy enemies-to-lovers romance.
