A Tale of Two Friends
This is a nice illustrated adventure and is a good read for older kids. Princess the cardinal is an especially sweet character whose deep sense of empathy sets her apart. It is a sweet tale of friendship and courage. Hootie the owl tells the readers the story of Princess and Scruffy as Princess helps Scruffy overcome his fear of heights.
