Dinosaur Road: A Short Story by Kenneth Cross

Jasmine just quit her job, her dad's been dead a year, and her bank account is circling the drain. When she pulls over to give a ride to a stranger in a skeleton princess outfit who claims to know where real, living dinosaurs are, she figures the night can't get worse.

Six hours, three states, one claw machine, and one punch thrown later, she finds out what the girl meant.

It's not what she expected.

A short story about grief, friendship, and the things we find when we stop looking.

My  Review:

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Four Point Four Stars

Starting with a scene of little Jas and her father at a dinosaur museum, the story moves to the twenty-year-old Jas who has quit her job. She is furious and trying to get away. She is also dealing with the loss of her father.

That is when Jas meets Aly who loves dinosaurs. What is strange is that Aly wants to show Jas some real dinosaurs!

Beautiful short story of love and the things that we find when we are willing to embrace the unknown and step through the door for new opportunities.
